The board of Encountering the Arts Ireland (ETAI), in association with Dublin City University, presents Time, Vocabulary & Art’s Thoughtful Uses of Feeling a lecture delivered by Professor Ciarán Benson.
Honoured guest, President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, will introduce the lecture.
The lecture will celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Place of the Arts in Irish Education (The Benson Report, Arts Council, 1979) and commemorate the achievement of Professor John Coolahan (1941-2018).
A reception will follow the lecture.DATE: 28th February, 2019, at 6 pm.
We invite our guests to arrive at 5:30 pm and are invited to be seated at 5:45 pm in advance of our president’s arrival.
Anyone who arrives late may not be admitted to the lecture theatre.

Guests may park elsewhere on the campus, except where normal parking restrictions apply, for example where there are double yellow lines. Overflow parking is also available on DCU’s All Hallows Campus, Grace Park Road, which is approximately 8-10 minutes walk from St Patrick’s Campus.
